introduction

The Aztecs were one of the most advanced ancient cillivisations as they had massive populations, advanced, buildings and advanced farming techniques

if you still believe that they arent smart then you'd be wrong as they invented hot chocolate which is the pinacle of human ingenuity. They even knew that the world was round

How they settled in

they traveled far and wide and when they were in new mexico they saw a eagle eating a snake on a cactus. Today this is a symbol that's very important to mexicans, as you see on the falg of mexico you can see a eagle eating a sanke on the cactus

they built massive monuments to honor their gods and made human sacrifice so that the sun would come back up and their heavely relied-on crops would grow

farming methods

they knew farming methods such as irrigation, terracing and even made their own type of farming on water gardens that float

would reclaim their lands by planting reed in the water, using the reeds as a base they would place compost and since their gardens are on water there is no need to even water the plants just harvest them using slaves from other tribes

religon and calenders

they had religons and whole calenders that worked
